Brasher’s Auto Auctions offer a full range of remarketing services including recon, inspections, transportation, financing, and wholesale automotive, RV/marine/specialty, and salvage auctions. Brasher’s sells vehicles for wholesale consignors including dealers, manufacturers, rental car companies, banks, finance and leasing institutions. Brasher’s customer-base draws from all of the western states, Mexico, and Canada.
Founded by Frank Brasher in 1949, Brasher’s is among the oldest auto auction companies in the nation. They were one of the first to offer dealer floor-planning, which Frank introduced in the 1950s. Full reconditioning was offered in the ’50s and transport service by an auction-owned fleet began in the ’60s.
Frank also recognized the significance of the fleet/lease business and began selling cars for ARI in the ’50s. Brasher’s was among the first auctions in the country to host sales for Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler in the ’60s. They contribute tremendous industry leadership, having been instrumental in helping conceive and implement Auto Auction Services Corporation (AASC), with Larry Brasher serving as its first President.
Brasher’s auctions were among the first to offer online simulcast sales in the late ’90s. With two partner auctions, they founded AuctionPipeline, which is now the premier online sales channel for independent auctions in the country. From implementing double blocks in the auction arena to carrying out successful online booksheet sales, Brasher’s auctions never rest and will continue to innovate for years to come.
Brasher’s commitment to dealer consignment and service has not changed since its first auction opened its doors more than 60 years ago.
